The History of Hillary

In honor of Flag Day and Fathers day, A tribute to all the fathers serving in our armed forces, you deserve better than our current #Pezident has to offer. See the difference here;

The densest element in the known Universe has been found!
A major research institution has just announced the discovery of the densest element yet known to science.  The new element has been named Pelosium.  Pelosium has 1 neutron, 12 assistant neutrons, 75 deputy neutrons, and 223 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 311.
These particles are held together by dense forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.
The symbol of Pelosium is PU.
Pelosium's mass actually increases over time, as morons randomly interact with various elements in the atmosphere and become assistant deputy neutrons within the Pelosium molecule, leading to the formation of isodopes.
This characteristic of moron-promotion leads some scientists to believe that Pelosium is formed whenever morons reach a certain density of voting concentration.

Are you unhappy with the way Mozilla treated new CEO Brendan Eich! This man is a co-founder of Mozilla, creator of the java scripting language and a very decent leader in his company. This is a prime example of what happens when hate-mongers rule! Don't disagree with them or they'll persue you till you're gone! This is my message to Mozilla:

As a faithful Firefox user and promoter, I am saddened by your fascist treatment of the new CEO, Mr. Eich. I have stopped using your product and will now tell everyone I know to do the same. Apparently freedom of speech does not live here! Goodbye!

United States v. Nixon, 1974

This case judged whether a president's power of executive privilege was absolute or if it could be waived in the event of a criminal investigation.

Historical Background

The early 1970s was a time of growing distrust in the National Government. The Pentagon Papers exposed the intentional deception of the American people about Vietnam. Americans were shocked when the National Guard opened fire at a Kent State University protest following President Nixon's authorization for the United States to attack Cambodia. Four students were killed. Nixon would soon add more fuel to the fire, attempting to cover up illegal actions by himself and his administration.

Circumstances of the Case

In June 1972, five men armed with cameras and bugging equipment were arrested inside the Democratic National Committee's offices in the Watergate complex in Washington, D.C. Police soon discovered that the burglars worked, directly or indirectly, for the Committee to Re-Elect the President. President Nixon and leaders of his campaign denied any connection with the incident.

The five men were convicted of burglary, along with E. Howard Hunt, Jr., a former Nixon aide, and G. Gordon Liddy, a lawyer for the Committee to Re-elect the President. Shortly afterward, the presiding judge received a letter from one of the convicted men. It spoke of payoffs to the burglars in return for their silence—the men had perjured themselves to protect others involved in the break-in.

In 1973, a Senate select committee began an investigation, and it became clear that top members of the Nixon administration were involved in a cover-up of the break-in and several other illegal actions. It was also discovered that Nixon had installed a taping system that automatically recorded all of his conversations with his advisors. A special prosecutor appointed to probe the Watergate scandal subpoenaed the tapes. Nixon refused to release them, claiming they were protected under executive privilege. Nixon eventually released some of the tapes, but portions of them had been erased. Finally, another special prosecutor asked the United States Supreme Court to compel Nixon to release all of the tapes in their entirety.

Constitutional Issues

Does the separation of powers created by the Constitution provide the President with an absolute power to withhold information from other branches of government? If the power is not absolute, should President Nixon be able to claim executive privilege under the aforementioned circumstances? Does the separation of powers allow for the settlement of this dispute to reside in the executive branch or should it be settled by the judicial branch? Does the claim of executive privilege damage the precedent set by the 5th Amendment, which ensures due process?

For the United States: The President's power to claim executive privilege is not an absolute one. Executive privilege may not be invoked to deny the courts access to evidence needed in a criminal proceeding. This is a dispute that can properly be heard in the federal courts.

For President Nixon: The constitutional scheme of separation of powers grants to the President the privilege of withholding information from the other branches of government. Furthermore, this power is absolute, and it is vital where high-level communications are involved. In addition, this dispute should be resolved within the executive branch, not by the courts.

Decision and Rationale

The Court ruled unanimously that President Richard Nixon had to surrender the tapes. Chief Justice Warren Burger delivered the opinion of the Court. Burger wrote, "The impediment that an absolute, unqualified [executive] privilege would place in the way of the primary constitutional duty of the Judicial Branch to do justice in criminal prosecutions would plainly conflict with the function of the courts under Art[icle] III."

Burger then turned his attention to the damage that a privilege of confidentiality would cause to citizens' constitutional rights: "The right to the production of all evidence at a criminal trial similarly has constitutional dimensions. The 6th Amendment explicitly confers upon every defendant in a criminal trial the right 'to be confronted with the witnesses against him' and 'to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor.' Moreover, the 5th Amendment also guarantees that no person shall be deprived of liberty without due process. It is the manifest duty of the courts to vindicate those guarantees, and to accomplish that it is essential that all relevant and admissible evidence be produced." The Court made it clear that the President could not withhold evidence from an ongoing criminal prosecution of another person simply because he was the President.

Several days before, the House Judiciary Committee had approved three articles of impeachment. On August 9, 1974, Nixon became the first President in U.S. history to resign from the presidency. He did so in order to avoid going through the likely prospect of being impeached by the full House of Representatives and convicted by the Senate.

The Presidency of Ted Reinmiller: Week Two;
It has long been known to all Americans that certain people and businesses receive tax credits/breaks/forgiveness just because of who they are or who they know, ie Nancy Pelosi exempted American Samoa from the last minimum wage law.  Why? Her husband was a major stock holder in Del Monte Foods which operates many plants in American Samoa.  He was therefore given an unfair advantage in the market place by keeping wages lower for Del Monte Foods.  Diane Feinstein’s husband was granted sole control over selling unused US Postal Service properties.  This could net them from one half to one and a half BILLION dollars in sales commissions.  Dick Cheney is a boy scout compared to these two reprehensible snakes.  So here is my week two proposals;

  1. No elected member of the Government of the United States, nor his immediate family shall be eligible for any government program, sales, jobs or other positions of any kind, until 5 years after said elected official is out of office.
  2. Cameras with sound shall be placed in the oval office.  The people will see what goes on in the office of the President.  All phone conversations into or out of the oval office shall be recorded and placed on the website.  This is transparency at its finest.
  3. An Executive Order will be issued to do the following;
    1. A. The NSA, CIA and the FBI will no longer have carte blanche to spy, snoop or record ANY data of the American People, unless a warrant shall first have been obtained by a local judge who SHALL follow all procedures of the fourth amendment,
    2. FISA Courts are immediately abolished.  Blanket searches are also abolished,
    3. All combatants in the field of battle abroad are hereby designated Prisoners of War and shall be governed under the Geneva Accords.
  4. Representatives (NCO’s and Enlisted members only) from all branches of the Military will meet once a year to grade their equipment and officers, and to request weaponry they deem fit for their various duties.  Said list will be reviewed through out the chain of command and forwarded to the JCS for review with the Commander in Chief with in 30 calendar days following the end of the Enlisted men and NCO meeting.
  5. Meet with members of Congress to discuss spending reductions and tax reform.  We must keep the peoples treasury safe and secure, and to be frugal with their hard earned tax dollars.

So ends the second week of my presidency.

The Presidency of Ted Reinmiller
Inauguration day; After taking the Oath of Office there will be no parties, balls or celebrations. This is not the time for such wasteful frivolous things. Go to the Oval Office and write an Executive Order delaying ALL PPACA or Obamacare mandates until further notice. I will ask the leaders of the House and Senate to meet with me immediately to do the following;

  1. Write and pass a bill making it illegal to spend the precious funds of the American Taxpayers for bailouts of any kind.
  2. Write and pass a bill mandating that ALL Health Insurance Companies to do the following; make all plans a la carte and no one will be forced to buy what they don’t need, all companies will sell across state lines without interference or regulation from the individual states, all healthcare providers will accept all insurance and will file only ONE itemized claim form, All persons who apply for health insurance SHALL be covered. If employers provide coverage it will be portable under all circumstances.
  3. As President I shall immediately begin shutting down the Departments of Energy, Education, Transportation and Health and Human Services.
  4. The Defense Department will start replenishing all drones, cruise missiles and re-deploy the anti-missile systems back to the Poles and other Baltic states.  Military pensions SHALL be reinstated.  Research on military systems will be instituted to see how best to defend America with minimal human interaction. (More remote devices and fewer troops.)
  5. The Border Patrol, Customs and Immigration will be returned to their own as an independent entity.  Border Security will be Job 1!  This includes a massive 20 foot tall triple fence from the Gulf coast of Texas to the Pacific coast of California. Any state defying, refusing or otherwise not co-operating with the federal immigration laws will have ALL Federal funds halted until 10 years after they again comply FULLY with said laws.

This ends week one of my Presidency.

The Myth of Liberty and the Illusion of Freedom

They say we live in the freest nation on earth.  They say we can do anything we want and be anything we want.  They say we can achieve the American Dream.  “They” say a lot of things.  Just who are “they”?  What do “they” want?

“They” want your undivided attention.  “They” want you to comply.  “They want you to be subservient to their wishes.  “They” want your loyalty.  “They” will say and do almost anything to get this from you.  “They” make promises “they” know they can’t keep.  Sometimes “they” will lie to you to get you to be loyal to them.  “They” are the old guard politicians that infest our nations capitol.  “They” are the politicians who will steal your children’s and your grand children’s future to perpetuate themselves in office.  “They” are addicted to the pomposity and perks of office and the power they wield as Congressmen.  “They” are from all parties and beliefs.  It is the reason you feel powerless and unable to build a strong life and future for yourself and your family.

These are the vermin that once “they” gain their place in the palace of the ruling class, they believe they are entitled to a lifelong career as your rulers.  “They” have forgotten their place in the general scheme of things.  “They” are supposed to be the public servants.  Instead, “They” believe themselves to be the masters.  There can be no more egregious example of this than the PPACA that “they” passed, unread, and then when it was becoming clear that it was a disaster, “they” exempted themselves and gave their staff a generous stipend to afford their own “affordable care.”

Examples of this rush to control are many and diverse.  It’s directly connected to progressives in both parties.  “They” will tell you that you must comply with the rules they create for you to preserve the peace or maintain order or security.  They are exempt from these rules.  “They” tell us this is the land of opportunity, as long as you comply with their rules.  You cannot start a business without following tens of thousands of pages of rules, regulations, inspections and permits, all of which require thousands of dollars of fees, taxes and commissions.

You cannot start a business in your basement or garage because of zoning restrictions.  If you design a gasoline engine that gets 75 mpg, fa ged aboud it!  It will not comply with “Their” standards.  Even though it may pollute less per mile or per gallon of fuel burned, it does not comply!  Not only does it not comply, it will reduce the profits of the major fuel companies and it will drastically reduce the income from liquid fuels taxes paid to states and the federal government.  “They” must have their pound of your flesh, but not theirs.  We have sacrificed our Fourth Amendment rights for the false promise of security.  We are allowing our Second Amendment rights to be regulated into non-existence.  Our First Amendment rights are being severely curtailed by the politically correct storm troopers and race-baiters.  The Atheists who fear our religious beliefs so much that they feel the need to ban religious practices altogether. Let us not forget the Permit peddlers who require us to buy a ticket to march for a redress of our grievances.  Our hard fought Liberty is becoming a myth of an age long past.

We are less free now than our parents, grandparents and others who came before us.  Our Founding Fathers would be asking why we have not taken up arms against the tyranny of government.  We of course have no answer for them.  We lost our Liberty and all we have is the Illusion of Freedom.

There is hope, however small that we may yet again know the Freedom and Liberty of our forefathers. I believe it may be the Tea Party.

forward this to everyone that you know.

January 9, 2014;
If President Richard Nixon had done what Governor Chris Christie just did, he would have finished his term as President. Just my opinion. I don't like either of them.

Everything you ever wanted to know about elected officials is written in a letter to the NSA by Sen. Bernie Sanders S, (He ran and was elected as a socialist, but congress refused to seat him as such. They insisted upon the I for independent) Vt. In his letter he stated, “Has the NSA spied, or is the NSA currently spying, on members of Congress or other American elected officials?” Sanders asked in a letter to NSA chief Gen. Keith Alexander. Is there any more proof needed to limit these self centered, self absorbed, screw the American people, I only care about me politicians to TWO TERMS!

My resolution for as long as I can keep it, "Always try to be kind." The Crusty Curmudgeon
The political arena is not always kind to this sentiment, but it is worth trying.

Happy 2014!

A few thoughts about the coming year.

Unintended Consequences; this is what happens when politicians try to solve problems they have no business getting involved in, usually with bad to catastrophic results. They almost always harm the ones they try to help and will certainly make the problem worse. Their efforts to "correct" a situation always ends badly.

Another year begins. The taxation WITH representation ignoring our wishes continues. Great quote from an unnamed source I just made up.

"We are the United States Government, giving you nothing if you work, everything if you don't and taking from those that produce to pay some of the bills. We'll just print the rest of the money we need. Now shut up and quitchyer bitchin!"

A bill to prevent the Taxpayers from Bailing out the Healthcare Insurance Providers.
